After-hours assistance and assistance for lost key/lock-out

For assistance outside of Reception hours please:

  • Lift the handset and enter ‘0’ from your room or from the lobby telephone, or
  • Call 0508 444 5637 then select option 0 from a cellular or other telephone, or
  • If you are a 2 Degrees network customer, call 04 9781400 then select option 0.

Calls received outside of reception hours are answered by an after-hours assistance team and not a Gilmer Apartment Hotel staff member. They will assist with general enquiries and if required contact a Gilmer Apartment Hotel staff member. All after-hours calls are recorded for quality and training purposes.

Please note there is a $50 charge for after-hours call-outs resulting from lost keys and lock-outs.


Visitor access

An intercom is located under the lock box outside the reception door.

If you have visitors arriving outside of reception hours, they can contact you directly in your apartment via the intercom by pressing your room number and the bell key or by calling ‘0’ from the telephone in the lobby. Our after-hours team will transfer the call to your room.

Note: Visitors are not allowed access to apartments after 11:00pm.
